El Consejo Nacional de Seguridad Social (CNSS) mediante la resolución No. 560-07 aumento las pensiones por Discapacidad Permanente y Sobrevivencia del Seguro de Riesgos Laborales (SRL).
La resolución fue aprobada este jueves durante una sesión ordinaria del Consejo, la cual instruye al Instituto Dominicano de Prevención y Protección de Riesgos Laborales (IDOPPRIL), a proceder a actualizar y mejorar dichas pensiones tomando como mínimo el RD$8,000.00.
Esta medida tiene un impacto positivo en la calidad de vida de los pensionados, en la medida en que verán incrementada su capacidad de adquirir bienes y servicios. El monto de la pensión por discapacidad total y parcial será revisada y actualizada cada tres años en tanto que la pensión por sobrevivencia por cinco años.
La Comisión Permanente de Riesgos Laborales del CNSS propuso el aumento luego de evaluar todas las recomendaciones de la Superintendencia de Salud y Riesgos Laborales (SISALRIL), estudio actuarial, los aspectos técnicos y legales.
La resolución establece que la cuantía de una Pensión por Discapacidad Permanente amparada por el Seguro de Riesgos Laborales, tiene como objetivo mejorar la protección social frente al riesgo de lucro cesante de los trabajadores afiliados al Sistema Dominicano de Seguridad Social (SDSS).
La Comisión Permanente de Riesgos Laborales del CNSS está integrada por representante del Sector Gubernamental, Sector Empleador, Sector Laboral; Sector de los Discapacitados, Indigentes y Desempleados y el Colegio Médico Dominicano.
